Figure 7 – Type C3 cover. 2.4.2 Unified Waste Rock Dump The Unified Waste Rock Dump is located on steeply sloping undulating hillsides, with a maximum height of 45 m for Zone 1, 33.7 m for Zone 2, and 15.6 m for Zone 3, with a slope varying between 27° and 30°, composed of overburden material consisting of fragments of tonalite and sandstone rocks in a sandy-clay matrix. The Unified waste rock dump is classified according to the Unified Soil Classification System (SUCS) as poorly graded silty gravel (GPGM), non-plastic, dense, and with a moisture content varying between approximately 4% and 7%. This waste rock dumps accumulated materials from different mine clearings, cut materials from the pit, adjacent waste materials from the hopper, and material from the demolition of infrastructure.
