This expanded deployment aims to enable high resolution 3D landscape-scale structural assessment, improve consistency across monitoring periods, and set a leading example with emerging biodiversity disclosure frameworks, including the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and Nature Positive Initiative (NPI). At Samarco, the first phase was implemented across 7 experience points within compensation areas, establishing environmental baselines using satellite data, terrestrial sensing, and in-situ observations. Across both cases, initial phases demonstrated the feasibility of integrating multi-source environmental data into a unified digital representation, helping to engage with stakeholders, establishing a foundation for further analysis as additional data becomes available. 7.1.3 Operational and Stakeholder Outcomes At the Águas Claras Mine, the first phase of Green Cubes implementation contributed to improved understanding of the MAC and Mata do Jambreiro areas among both internal teams and external stakeholders. The availability of visualized environmental information supported clearer communication, through display at the Vale Future Use house for the local community, internally understanding at Vale and external differentiation at events and conferences. Following completion of the first phase, Vale successfully conducted a public hearing as part of the MAC closure process, organized in collaboration with the Minas Gerais environmental authority (FEAM). Public hearings of this nature serve to make closure and future-use planning more transparent and inclusive by formally engaging regulators, operators, and affected communities. For the MAC site, the future-use project aims to support a sustainable transition that expands green space, supports conservation objectives, and explores opportunities for community benefits such as environmental education and local development. In addition, the MAC site and the four initial experience points have been made accessible through an interactive digital environment using Minecraft. This integration supports educational initiatives and community engagement by providing an accessible and immersive way for students and local stakeholders to explore the site, understand biodiversity conditions, and learn about restoration and monitoring efforts. At Samarco, early operational outcomes include improved visibility of environmental performance, a foundation for new AI-powered applications and strengthened engagement primely internal, but also setting the operational structure for the next phase of Green Cubes, also scheduled for 2026. 7.1.4 Early Indicators of Scalability and Transferability
