404 To confirm the undesirable effects of the critical variables identified in Phase I, metallurgical tests (Phase II) must be performed. Figure 7 shows examples of metallurgical test results for three critical variables: marcasite, clays, and organic carbon. The results clearly demonstrate the negative influence of prohibitively high percentages of these critical variables; therefore they need to be systematically analyzed. The Geometallurgical Data is compiled by collecting all the mineralogical analyses of critical variables for each section, drill hole by drill hole, as well as the systematic determinations of RQD, point load charge, density, etc. (Fig. 8). Finally, applying a similar methodology to model element grades, the estimation of each critical variable is performed, which is assigned block by block, thus constituting the MGMB.
