87 4.1.3 Participated in formulating the development strategy of FutureCoal Global Alliance Actively participated in FutureCoal 2025-2035 development strategy plan, identifying challenges and opportunities facing the future development of the global coal value chain, participated in formulating key strategic objectives and implementation paths, called for more responsible use of coal globally, actively explored technological innovation paths, promoted the sustainable development of the coal industry, and contributed positively to global energy structure optimization and environmental protection. In October 2023, co-organized the Future Coal Development Forum with the FutureCoal, attended by over 300 senior representatives from 18 countries. Chairmen and General Managers from India's Coal India Limited, SUEK, and major domestic coal enterprises were all present. 4.2 Established regular bilateral coal cooperation Establishing communication mechanisms with embassies and consulates of major coalrelated countries in China, foreign government agencies, chambers of commerce, associations, and enterprises. Promoted bilateral coal work through various forms such as regular exchanges of visits, seminars, exhibitions, and information sharing. 4.2.1 Cooperation with Australia In May 2023, author accompanied Australian Ambassador to China, Mr. Graham Fletcher to visit Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, including visit of the unmanned mining face at No.1 Huangling underground coal mine. Mr. Fletcher became the first Ambassador to China to visiting underground work face in China’s coal mine. Both sides took this opportunity to discuss cooperation in intelligent mining, gas control, technology & equipment, and coal trade. 4.2.2 Cooperation with Poland In 2024 and 2025, organized two batches of Chinese coal industry delegations to Poland to participate in the Industry 5.0 International Conference and Mining Exhibition, delivered a keynote speech on The Transition and Future Development of China's Coal Industry, held discussions with the Polish Central Mining Institute and Huaxing Group, conducted on-site visit of Fasing Group's mining equipment manufacturing plant, and engaged in technical exchanges; accompanied Polish delegations to Tianjin for the Coal Clean and Efficient Utilization Exhibition and Academician Forum, to Anhui for the Chinese Academy of Engineering Annual Meeting, and discussed cooperation with relevant enterprises in areas such as rock burst prevention and methane emission reduction.
