The objective of this review was to assess how electrical power supply considerations are incorporated at each planning level and to identify potential gaps in their integration across time horizons. From this review, several planning practices related to electrical supply integration were observed. Electrical supply points were consistently considered within short‑term planning horizons, including weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly plans. However, for planning horizons beyond one month, coordination related to electrical supply was primarily managed through verbal communication and was not formally documented. While the operation maintained quarterly end‑of‑period surfaces for approximately two years ahead, with extended planning surfaces available for up to five years, electrical supply considerations were not integrated or documented beyond the short‑term planning horizon. 3.1.4 Operational Observations and Identified Constraints The baseline assessment identified several operational situations arising from the interaction between electrical infrastructure and mining activities. Delays in restarting mining operations were commonly observed following blasting events due to the need to remove and reinstall electrical cables. In addition, extended lead times were required for the installation of new poles, in some cases taking several months to complete line relocations. Instances of electrical infrastructure damage caused by proximity to blasting zones were also identified. These constraints frequently resulted in modifications to, and delays in, mining plans when limitations arose in the availability or positioning of electrical lines. 3.2 Technical Constraints Definition – Electrical Infrastructure Integration After the baseline study, the next step is to define the constraints affecting the location and integration of the electrical infrastructure within the mine plan. This study presents those key constraints and considerations. The values assigned to the design parameters presented below were provided by the responsible departments and are applicable to the reality and context of the mine analyzed. These values are based on factors such as rock type, blasting method, equipment dimensions (including substations, poles, and assembly configurations), types of
