volumes A, B or C, and thus cannot be used for a direct comparison. However, the orientation of σ1 for this site somewhat aligns with the structure-related stress inversion results for clusters A and B. This may be just a coincidence or due to a similar structure near that location. Site 2, on the other hand, was measured within the cluster B volume but away from the known structure. In this case, we observed a reasonable correlation in terms of azimuth for σ1 for the stress inversion results for tunnel-related events, but the inversion suggests a steeper plunge.
