METHODOLOGY 3.1 Research Design and Population The study employed a concurrent mixed-methods design integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches for evidence triangulation, adopting pragmatic epistemology to capture the multidimensional nature of organizational readiness. The design is cross-sectional with descriptive-correlational scope and explanatory elements derived from game theory analysis. The study population comprised all 71 workers in the Fire Refining Area, achieving 84.5% coverage (n=60). Given this near-census coverage, calculated statistics represent actual population parameters rather than sample estimates. The workforce is 100% male, with mean age of 44.8 years (SD=10.2), mean tenure of 13.1 years, and 16.7% reconverted from the closed smelter.
