RFID based access control system with Boom Barriers have been deployed at all entry/exit check-posts in all the coal mines ensuring controlled and authorized vehicular access to mine premises. The dual-factor authentication (RFID + ANPR cameras) system deployed at all mine entry/exit check posts to provide extra edge to robust secure system. This dual-authentication process access to mine premises is devoid of any manual intervention. Also, all RFID systems are programmed for specific routes within a Mine/outside mine. The RIFD application portal is enabled with OTP based Login, for all the role based designated/authorized users. All the entry/exit, weighment data and alerts generated are recorded at the centralized RFID database at WCL HQ and can be accessed & monitored in real-time through the RFID portal. This system ensures a safe, secure and centralized access control system thereby removing manual intervention and deterring unauthorized activities. 1.4) RFID & ANPR Based Weighment System. Similarly, RFID based system at all the electronic ensure man-less, real-time operation. At each weighbridge, the system will include IP Fixed Cameras, Dome Cameras (for monitoring inside the weighbridge cabin), a weighbridge positioning system, Outdoor Variable Message Sign Board, integrated RFID and ANPR Camera-based Weighment Automation system and IP Radios for collectively facilitating RFID-based weighment integration and CCTV surveillance. The weighment data is transmitted in real-time to a centralized server at which is connected to the ERP Server of the company for real time updating coal despatch. RFID based access control system at entry/exit and RFID based Weighment system are interlocked. This integrated system prevents vehicles from leaving the mine premises without undergoing weighment thereby ensuring that the vehicles do not by-pass the weighment process.
