Track 2: Process Innovation, Circularity and Recovery

4. STATE OF THE ART In contrast to traditional crushing station solutions, which are based on structures designed under project-specific and rigid criteria, this proposal is founded on an integral modularization concept. Under this approach, the station is configured through a set of pre-designed modules selected to be efficiently integrated, ensuring compliance with the defined capacity requirements. A representative example of the application of this model is the pebble crushing station at the Mina Justa mining unit, where component standardization optimized the response to site operational demands. 5. IMPROVEMENT Concrete foundations limit flexibility and prolong schedules in large-scale mining, restricting asset mobility against risks such as damage from lamellar morphology. The transition toward modular infrastructures without permanent civil bases is fundamental for accelerated deployment. These relocatable solutions optimize the capital life cycle and mitigate environmental liabilities, allowing the full recovery and reuse of components throughout the various phases of the mine. 6. STRATEGIC IMPACT OF THE MODULAR MODEL This work validates the deployment of modular stations on skid bases, achieving a 28% reduction in implementation time and a mechanical assembly of 12 days per unit. The main contribution is the neutralization of lamellar morphology through secondary crushing (from 430 mm to 150 mm), mitigating damage to the long distance conveyor. With a capacity of 2,200 t/h, the results support the viability of relocatable infrastructures that guarantee operational continuity and asset circularity without dependence on permanent concrete foundations. 7. METHODOLOGY AND ENGINEERING APPROACH 7.1 Modularization The crushing, screening, and transport stations were designed as semi-mobile units on skidtype metallic chassis. This modular architecture (Figure 2) allows independent components to be integrated into autonomous modules to form the complete operational unit, facilitating its deployment and mobility. Conformed for n Screening module, Crushing module, Skid-type base module divided into three parts and Access module.
