Measured pump pressures were comparable to, or slightly lower than, those observed with the baseline mix, despite higher solids contents. Operators reported fewer pressure fluctuations and a more consistent flow regime, reflecting the more controlled rheology. Despite lower binder contents, the admixture-modified mixes consistently met the mine’s UCS requirements and, in many cases, exceeded the strengths achieved by the baseline mix. UCS results were monitored in a curing period from 7 to 90 days (Figures 9 and 10). The observed improvements are consistent with the lower water-to-cement ratios and better cement particle dispersion achieved by the admixture, which enhances hydration efficiency in sulfide-rich systems.
