High-strength middle troughs, heavy-duty chains, and optimized drive systems were adopted to accommodate coal flow rates approaching 8,000 t/h, while ensuring reliable startup and long-term operation under heavy load conditions. The technical parameters of the scraper conveyor are listed in Table 2. Table 2 The technical parameters of the SGZ1600/3×2000 scraper conveyor Parameter Value Designed length (m) 325 Designed length (m) 300 Transport capacity (t/h) 8000 Installed power (kW) 3×2000kW Chain speed (m/s) 1.83 Chain specification (mm) φ60/135×181/197 Pin rail pitch (mm) 201 Middle trough specification (mm) 2400×1600×540 The coordinated development of the shearer and conveyor system ensures smooth coal cutting and transportation, preventing bottlenecks that would otherwise limit the effectiveness of ultra-large-height mining. 3.4 System Integration and Operational Reliability Beyond individual equipment breakthroughs, the success of 10-m longwall mining ultimately depends on system-level integration. The hydraulic shields, shearer, and scraper conveyor were designed and optimized as a unified system, with coordinated operating parameters and compatible mechanical and control interfaces.
