The simulations for the 1.2 m spacing configuration yield the following observations: • 1 1/2-inch Explosive Diameter: This configuration exhibits greater connectivity along the tensile planes (see Figure 3), thereby generating a more effective presplit attenuation filter. • Attenuation Efficiency: As shown in Figure 6, the theoretical attenuation percentage generated in the simulation is 48% for the 1 1/2" diameter, while the 1 1/4" diameter yields a filter effect of 39%.
