Taken together, these results confirm that the reinforced configuration did not merely improve structural behavior but enhanced the haul road’s function as a production asset by reducing variability in operating conditions and limiting weather-related disruptions. 4.2 Vehicle Structural Response Monitoring To better understand the interaction between road condition and equipment performance, onboard monitoring systems were installed on haul trucks to record: • Spring weight exceedance events • Chassis torque exceedance events These parameters are indicators of dynamic stress transmitted to truck structures during operation. Mapping of these events identified critical road segments where excessive stresses occurred. After reinforcement of these locations with multidirectional rigid geogrids, monitoring showed an abrupt reduction in exceedance events, indicating smoother load transfer and improved running surface conditions.
