CONCLUSIONS The mining preparation of Chuquicamata Underground today faces different challenges with the aim of launching projects that seek to contribute to production commitments and add value to the division. Currently, Chuquicamata faces the strategic challenge of incorporating the macroblocks N42, S4, Panel Central into production, with the objective of strengthening both the tonnage and the grade of the mineral extracted in the mine. These macroblocks present relevant considerations in aspects such as their design, the construction methods employed, and the geomechanical conditions, among other key factors that influence their construction. In the short term, the occurrence of significant milestones for the operation is projected. Among them, the completion of the construction of Panel Central stands out, which corresponds to the first panel aimed at the recovery of reserves under a macroblock currently in production. Likewise, the prompt incorporation of macroblock N42 into the production stage is envisioned, whose construction has been carried out simultaneously with the incorporation of the area of the adjacent macroblock N41.
