The State provides formal education (teachers, curriculum, infrastructure) and institutional frameworks (public library network, cultural policies, intercultural bilingual education). Mining companies contribute social investment (additional infrastructure, scholarships, skills training). Nuestros Saberes builds intergenerational capacities so that future generations can better utilize what they receive from the State and the mining sector and sustain it beyond the projects' life cycle. This approach reduces reliance on handouts because it shifts the focus toward capacity building, evidence-based learning, and self-management. 6. METHODOLOGY 6.1 Methodological approach A mixed and participatory approach is adopted. The qualitative component captures collective memory, cultural practices, dynamics of change, and perceptions through techniques such as interviews, life histories, and systematization. The quantitative component strengthens data collection and analysis capacities (census, surveys, records), geared toward situational diagnoses and indicator monitoring. Implementation is supported by facilitators specializing in text production and creative writing, qualitative and quantitative research, audiovisual production, community management, and project formulation. 6.2 Living logical framework, theory of change and adaptive learning The design is organized using a living logical framework: results, products, activities, tasks, indicators and means of verification that are iteratively adjusted with the community based on evaluation milestones. The Theory of Change (TOC) makes the causal logic explicit: it describes how and why program activities are expected to produce specific outcomes and impacts (Weiss, 1995; Rogers, 78
