The implementation of the GIO Center and the ODJIT Digital Twins has allowed Minera Chinalco Peru to transition to a resilient and prescriptive Mining 5.0. The integration of the technological architecture with a solid cultural pyramid has proven to be the engine to achieve recovery and treatment levels superior to historical ones, consolidating a competitive advantage based on data intelligence and integrated execution; which will be strengthened with the implementation of MDJIT (Just-in-Time Maintenance Decisions) that will consider interoperability to achieve integration of process management systems (PMS), downtime management and asset management systems.
