7. CONCLUSION The shift from consultation to co-ownership is not a values argument: it is an operational requirement for responsible, efficient mineral delivery. The Triangle of Trust defines the governance destination. The Catalyst Sprint provides a tested, cross-cultural, scalable process for getting there. The evidence from DPI's applied work across multiple continents demonstrates that the process is transferable and produces measurable convergence, even between parties starting from adversarial positions. While it challenges the thinking and the status quo of traditional engagement, stepping out of the ‘comfort zone’ the mining industry operates in is necessary to build trust, and to build the mines of the future.
