For the exploitation in these exploitation areas, concession contracts were concluded with 104 concessionaires. In most of the exploitation areas, exploitation is taking place, some of which are in a state of hibernation, in preparation for exploitation or on the abandonment process of exploitation. In 2024, only 1 concession for geological exploration of mineral resources was active in Slovenia, which expired at the end of 2025.
