* Includes: AI-enabled territorial diagnostic platforms and digital twin models of mining territories A key difference between the TD-SBSC and the SBSC lies in the incorporation of a new enabler and key resource: artificial intelligence, along with data-driven territorial development. These, in turn, encompass AI-enabled territorial diagnostic platforms and digital twin models of mining territories. Another important difference is the inclusion of cumulative effects generated over time, such as negative and/or positive externalities and synergies produced in the territory by various stakeholders, for which, in many cases, no one takes responsibility (IDB 2022). Figure 1 illustrates an example of the strategic map of a mining territory, based on the TD-SBSC, which connects various performance objectives in a causal chain that supports the strategy's goals. Thus, investment in key enablers and resources, especially in artificial intelligence, data-driven territorial development, AI-enabled territorial diagnostic platforms, and digital twin models of mining territories, will optimize outcomes in key enablers, resources, and sustainability and innovation processes. This will create value for all ecosystem stakeholders, producing positive economic, social, and environmental impacts, and advancing a sustainable, inclusive mining sector. 3. Results This section presents the matrix of the proposal within a shared value strategic framework, summarizing the selection criteria for the various cases analyzed in Peru, Chile, and Brazil, at both the company and public policy levels. It also outlines the components of the current proposal, including the STD-SBSC methodology. A joint analysis reveals gaps, as in the majority of cases, with the exception of Anglo American Quellaveco, the opportunities offered by the AI-enabled territorial diagnostic platform and digital twin models of mining territories within the shared value creation strategy are not yet being fully utilized.
